Seating Capacities

The following capacities are recommended for guest comfort and convenience:

Long Room

  • 50 guests for a seated reception or dinner

  • 75 guests for a cocktail reception with limited seating

  • 100 guests for a standing cocktail reception

Need additional space? Tenting on the museum lawn is permitted and may be used to accommodate larger gatherings.

The holidays are an especially lovely time at the museum. Event rentals are limited, but available.
