The scarecrows are coming to take over the lawn at the Robbins Hunter Museum!

One of our favorite fall traditions returns! Students from Welsh Hills School will once again take over the lawn at the Robbins Hunter Museum with their imaginative scarecrow creations.

This year’s theme is “Amazing American Authors.” It will feature six scarecrows, each designed to celebrate a beloved author and their impact on readers of all ages.

Featured authors include:
Beverly Cleary
Rick Riordan
Arnold Lobel
Grace Lin
Dav Pilkey
Charles Schulz

Join us on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 6 p.m. as the students share their scarecrows and tell visitors about the authors who inspired them.

This event is free and open to the public. Come and celebrate creativity, storytelling, and community on a fall evening at the museum!
