The purpose of the Women's Board of the Robbins Hunter Museum is to generate awareness and support for the Museum's mission, activities and needs in an effort to make the Museum a focal point of the Granville community.
Members are invited to come together for two meetings/mixers every year and may participate in a variety of additional social and educational events. Members are also encouraged to share the Museum with their family, friends and neighbors.
As a support group, the Women's Board plans and organizes social and fundraising activities to benefit the Robbins Hunter Museum, while at the same time strengthening old female friendships and developing new ones. Opportunities for involvement are varied and plentiful.

Victoria Woodhull Honoree AMY BUTLER
The Victoria Woodhull clock at the museum is the only monument in the United States to Victoria Woodhull. A native Ohioan, Ms. Woodhull was the first woman to own a newspaper, the first woman to own a stock brokerage, the first woman to address Congress, and the first woman to run for President of the United States. In celebration of Victoria Woodhull’s birthday in the fall, we honored a local woman who embodies her spirit. This year's honoree was:
Amy Butler: She is a designer of a line of products that includes fabrics, home decor, wallpaper, stationery, wall art, handbags and luggage, to name a few! She is the author of several craft and design books and former contributing editor to Country Living magazine. Amy addressed our group with an inspiring and entertaining presentation on October 11, 2011.
